About Me

I was born and grew up in Zimbabwe where I first exhibited lino print works at the now Harare Art Gallery while still at school. After going to South Africa to study Pattern Cutting and Design I hitch hiked around America earning money speed sketching people in the markets before moving to Israel to live on an artist orientated Kibbutz called Kfar Hanasi to study Art and Calligraphy.

In 1994 I came to Oxfordshire England, by then married with two children and attended art courses in Chipping Norton to gain experience in a range of mediums. In 1997 with my family, I moved up to Cheshire and attended Macclesfield College part time studying Life Drawing for two years. 
 
I currently specialise in painting Pastel Portraits of people, figures, pets and animals from photographs where I happily accept commissions between painting studies for future exhibitions.
